What independent off-airport parking really means for you
Off-airport, independent, private parking: what those words really mean for your bill, your car and your flexibility when you fly from Brussels Airport.

More than a place to leave the car
You will see the phrases everywhere: off-airport, independent, private parking. They sound like marketing, but they describe something real that changes your experience and your bill. Here is what each part actually means for you.
One point up front, stated plainly: P12 is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Brussels Airport Company or Interparking. We are a separate, private business a short shuttle ride away.
Off-airport
Off-airport simply means the car park is not inside the terminal complex. Instead of paying for land at the airport's front door, you park nearby and take a free shuttle in. At P12 that shuttle runs non-stop, 24/7: about 5 minutes of waiting, then a 10 minute ride to the terminal.
- What you give up: a few minutes on a shuttle instead of a walk from the terminal car park.
- What you get back: a much lower price, and a calmer, less crowded drop-off.
Independent
Independent means the business is run on its own terms, not as part of a large chain or the airport operator. That has real upsides.
- Pricing set to win your booking, not to match a captive terminal rate.
- A team small enough to actually care how your car is handled.
- The freedom to offer clear, simple services rather than a confusing grid of tariffs.
What it means for your money
This is where the gap shows. Terminal parking at P1 and P2 runs roughly 150 to 350 euro a week, around 245 euro for a typical week. At P12 the current offer, applied automatically for a limited time, takes 50% off the parking base, so Standard starts at 40 euro a week instead of 80. Same city, same airport, a very different bill.
What it means for flexibility
Independent parking tends to be easier to deal with, not harder.
- Book online in a few minutes.
- Free cancellation up to 4 hours before drop-off, so plans can change.
- Open 24 hours a day, every day, including the awkward early flights.
What it means for your car
This is where the "independent" part shows. You choose how your car is looked after.
- Standard: hand us your keys and we park your car on our secured site, organising vehicles by departure day to use the space well. Covered spaces exist, but they are never guaranteed. Free shuttle both ways.
- First Class: a dedicated, secured spot where you park yourself and keep your keys. Free shuttle included.
Either way it is a fenced site with more than 300 spaces, cameras running 24/7 and a real team on it day and night. We park your car like it is our own.
